I knit, crochet, spin, and have done some experimenting with weaving and natural dye. Iām also a technical writer, mom to 3 boys, and enjoy gardening.

I’m going to make my 2nd Old Town (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/old-town). I made the first one with an angora blend that shed so much I felted it a little to stop it from doing that, so it’s not quite as big as it should be, though it’s still one of my favorite sweaters. I’m looking forward to having one in gray!
It’s natural. I kind of petered out with natural dyeing; I saved avocado skins & pits and harvested some lichen last summer that I never did anything with. I hope I eventually get back into it.
What are you going to make?

I really like this color… is this dyed? or is it natural… and if dyed did you do it?

It is! It’s a little prone to splitting, but that may just be the lace needles I’m using. My swatch is super soft!
