2/30 Currently On My Needles

30 Day Knitting Challenge Day 2: What is currently on your needles?

I’m currently knitting The Green Wood (on Ravelry here), which I also blogged about recently. I finished the yoke (the fun part) and started the back. I’m actually following directions for once and knitting the whole thing flat instead of knitting in the round & steeking. I even did a gauge swatch, which is slightly off but I didn’t want to get smaller needles (already using US 1/2.5mm) so I’m making it a size smaller than I would have in I’d gotten gauge.

I’m also working on another Old Town, Future Favorite 2, designed by Carol Sunday. It’s my third Carol Sunday sweater – I also made a Kelmscott cardi – and I love & highly recommend her patterns; they’re challenging, well written & supported, and I learn something new with each one.

    1. Thank you! I think it’s going to take forever to finish but I’m consoling myself with the thought that I’ll get to spend lots of time looking at the yoke. 🙂

    1. Thank you! I can’t wait to wear them! I wear my first Future Favorite all the time, so it’ll be nice to rotate in another. And I’m looking forward to wearing The Green Wood, too; hopefully I wear it more than my first Bohus, which is a little to large for me.
