The Balaclavas That Could Have Been

I was originally going to make one of these balaclavas (pattern) instead of Lucha Libre. But then I discovered I could digitally borrow Son of Stitch ‘n’ Bitch from the library, so I had to go with Lucha Libre – Ethan did ask me to make him a luchador mask after all, not a throwback balaclava. But if anyone else asks me for balaclava, I think I’ll have to whip one of these up.

    1. I know, right?!? So spectacularly awful that I *have* to make them at some point.

  1. I can see these in a Doris Day movie, or Bewitched…or on Ken and Barbie maybe? Pure 1960s!

    1. Yes! The movie that Doris Day and Steve McQueen never made! Or maybe the movie that Audrey Hepburn and Elvis never made! Now I’m going to be thinking about unlikely actor combinations. 😀

      2. Elizabeth Taylor & Jerry Lewis, although I’m having a really hard time imagining that; maybe this one is truly impossible.
