I’m really enjoying knitting my Aranami Shawl, but there are so many loose ends waving around. I’m spit splicing where I can and weaving in at the end of every row, but there are still lots of ends hanging off the back. In that spirit, here are some funnies about weaving in ends.
So you’ve woven in all your ends and you have leftover yarn, probably not enough to make something else but also too much to just throw out – what on earth are you going to do with it, other than add it to all your other leftover yarn? Make a Magic BallΒ using Russian Join! Organize your yarns by weight and color and start joining & winding!
haha, I can very much see Glinda helping knitters with their ends with at turn of her wand! π I love the idea of a magic ball, and can’t wait to try a Russian join. Thank you for the idea, Mandy! In the meantime, wishing you a visit or two from the weaving-in elves as you continue on the shawl. It’s such a gorgeous pattern – can’t wait to see it. π

That made me laugh out loud π I’m in weaving in ends hell myself; however I’ve decided that every few rows, I will stop and do it so it isn’t overwhelming at the end. That’s what you get when you are making a Rainbow blanket π

I especially feel like Gollum every now and then when ai’m weaving in ends, hunched over my precious … I mean, my project. π
